Law and Order/Safety

We must not be afraid to seek new partnerships to restore law and order to this community. One of my first priorities is to ensure the safety of our people. If our tribal members tell us that they do not feel protected, it is our job to make a change. It is no longer enough to tell people that we don’t have money or we don’t have qualified officers. Tribal leaders are responsible for maintaining order in their jurisdiction, anything less is unacceptable.
